In general, the population in China has exceeded the others up to today but will not remain its position as India show greater growth. Additionally, a crossing point is predicted in 2030

In details, commencing with nearly 1.3 billions in 2000, the number of people living in China was about 300 millions more than in India. The figure for China is likely to reach the peak of over 1.4 billions by 2030. At the same period, the population in India witnessed an exponential increase until 2030, when it is estimated to be on a par with China.

Furthermore, a continual rise in the figure for India to exactly 1.6 billions people will be recorded in 2050, whereas that of China is thought to be 200 millions fewer.
