The given pie charts are providing a result of the survey among the teenagers in an african country on the purpose of phone use in four different categories between 2016 to 2019.
Overall, social networking was the principal function of using phones by teenagers, followed by emailing. While, phone calls shared the smallest proportion of the total phone use in every year.
Social networking covered around 50% of the phone use from 2016 to 2018, which was increased to 56% in 2019. Eamiling was the second most reason until 2018 covering 25%, 24% and 20% respectively, it was declined further to 19% in 2019 and lost it's position to digital camera.
Digital camera was the third most reason for which teenagers used phones between 2016 to 2018. It's use was increasing gradually from 15% to 18% in 2018 which was continued to 20% in 2019 overtaking email. Phone calls were the smallest share among the overall phone use in every year that was fluctuated around 10 to 13% from 2016 to 2018 but it declined drammatically to 5% in 2019.
