The picture below shows how tomato ketchup is made. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features.
The diagram illustrates the process by which tomato sauce is produced. In general, there are altogether 15 steps that cover from planting tomatoes to serving ketchup at home.
The first step is that tomatoes are plucked and put into baskets by farmers. After being differentiated into good and bad ones, they are loaded onto the lorries and transported to the factory for manufacturing. In the factory, once the unnecessary parts of tomatoes such as stalk, seeds, and skin are extracted, tomatoes are placed in the containers and pressed to liquefy. At this point, sugar, vinegar, and salt are added for delicious flavor. And then, the containers are heated after which they are left for around two hours to cool down.
In the packaging stage, tomato ketchup is poured into bottles which are labeled afterward. The next step is that each bottle undergoes quality control to ensure the required standard. After all, the bottles are packed into boxes and delivered to supermarkets where customers can buy and serve the ketchup as a condiment with some food at home. Take hamburgers and french fries as examples.
