The diagram shows how orange juice is made.
The diagram details the process by which juice made from oranges is manufactured.
Overall, it is clear that there are three main steps to this entirely man-made process, beginning with a juice extraction, followed by its distribution for packaging or concentration that precedes the final selling in the supermarket.
In the initial stages, transported by a truck, fresh oranges arrive to the factory where they are washed under the shower. Once clean fruits pass through the extraction machine, solid waste leftovers are collected to be used for animals feeding.
As for the extracted fresh juice, there are two possible options in the production process. First is to pour it from a glass into a packaging box, so the juice box can be sold on a supermarket shelves. Second is to prepare a concentrate, which requires freshly made liquid transportation in a refrigerated truck and a subsequent evaporation process implementation to get rid of the water. This creates a juice concentrate that comes out from the evaporating factory in a form of an ice cube. Packaged into cans, it is delivered to another factory building by a warehouse tractor to undergo a watering process. Lastly, the drink is packaged and sent to the retail malls.
