The maps below shows the museum’s plant in 1998 and after some changes were made in 2008. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Given are the maps which illustrate significant modifications made to a museum during a period of 10 years, starting from 1998.
As can be observed, the area witnessed fundamental changes during the given period, with the most significant being the shift in locations and the addition of some facilities to make it larger and more convenient.
Looking at the northern part, the café was narrowed down, but a decade later, a WC was added to its right side while a new restaurant was erected on the left side where an empty land used to be. Situated in the center, the garden saw no alteration in size. However, 10 years later, it was upgraded, with the addition of a sitting area in the top left corner and a fountain at the bottom.
During the given period, there had also been the relocation of the temporary exhibition room to the north which was enlarged simultaneously to equal the scale of the garden. The area where it used to be in the South-west was then utilized for housing bags and coats together with the construction of a shop which could be found in the South-East in 1998. Nevertheless, the entrance where tickets are sold remained intact.
