The bar chart illustrates the division of household tasks between genders in the United Kingdom.
Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that most of the chores were dominated by a woman except for gardening, pet care, and odd jobs. Initially, women play a prominent role in kitchen work, which takes the most essential time of their life compared with other items ( over 2 hours per day - reaching the peak of time in the whole items) and caring for children. The rate of time, they spend on these works, doubled compared with the figures of men. It is noticeable that the housework time divergences between both sexes are clearly estimated in cleaning the house and doing laundry. While the former is done by males for around 13 minutes, that works for women are much higher ( around 4 times). In terms of the series of latter tasks, 2 and 25 minutes are the time-consuming of men's and women's perspectives.
Gardening and pet care were priored by men, who spend at least 49.5 minutes per day taking care; however, 21 minutes is adequate time for ladies. That trend continues with the following rate in odd jobs. Women do it as rapidly as they can ( around 9 minutes) while men use about 16. 5 minutes higher for the same purpose.
