The diagram shows the life cycle of a salmon
The picture illustrates various stages about how salmons grow and reproduct.
Overall, it is clear that life cycle of salmons consists of three living places, beginning with salmons spawning in river and ending with salmons moving from ocean back to river.
In the first stage, salmons spawn in the river, producing incubation. After that, baby salmons start to emerge from these eggs and are kept and bred by the adult ones in freshwater area. When the baby salmons are older, they then move to the estuary area and rear there before ready to go to the ocean.
In the following stage, salmons move to the ocean and have a migration to the rearing areas. In these areas, they are develop and mature to be the adult salmons. In the last stage, after growing enough, salmons migrate another times and back to the spawning areas in river, making the life cycle starts again.
