As is observed, the car is the most popular means of transport for UK commuters throughout the period when is showed in the graph. Similarly, UK people prefer to commute daily by train because of having the moderately increase from 1970 to 2030 while the trend of travelling by bus dropped slightly and hit a low of the ended year (2030).
In the beginning year, 1970, the amount of car users was the highest, with the figure standing at 5 million while the number of commuters by Bus and train were 4 million, 2 million respectively. Over the following 30 years, the number of both car and train user gone up at 7 million and 3 million. By contrast, the data of people who used by bus slowly decline below 4 million.
By 2030, the average number of commuters by car is expected to climb dramatically and reach a peak of 9 million. In the same trend, the transportation by train remain stable at 3 million before rising gradually at approximately 5 million. However, buses are predicted to be a less popular choice, with only 3 million daily users.
