Plan A shows a health centre in 2005. Plan B shows the same place in the present day. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
The two diagrams demonstrate the changes that have taken place in a health centre between 2005 and now.
Generally, from 2005 to the present, there have been vast changes in the size and structure of the building, such as more facilities (a minor operations room, a children’s play area) and expansions of some regions.
In 2005, it can be seen that there was a main entrance in front of the health centre, located next to a 12-space car park. Coming into the centre, many seats were put there for clients waiting for consultation. Going along to the end of the hallway, there would be a reception desk for service registering purposes. In addition, an office and consultation room 3 were located on the left side of the building, and on the opposite side, it was also two more consultation rooms. Passing through the receptionist, a Physiotherapy room was built behind.
In the present day, the layout of the centre has been restructured, including diminishing in size of the garden to expand the parking region to 30 slots. The main entrance is now situated at the bottom left corner of the centre with the reception table and a new children’s playground. Furthermore, there is a wider space with several seats in the middle of the building for waiting purposes. Last but not least, all the other rooms, including old rooms and a new minor operations room, have been rebuilt and relocated around the waiting area.
