Overall, compared with 2015, the figure for exports in 2016 of most groups increased slightly and the value of these groups also witnessed a small rise.
Regarding the bar chart, in both two years, petroleum products were exported more than other items, at over 60 billion dollars, nearly doubling the figure for products from the agricultural industry. While both engineered goods and textiles were seen to increase slightly by roughly 5 billion for each, a downward trend was observed in the export of gems and jewellery, at about 42 billion dollars in 2015 and 41 billion dollars in 2016.
Turning to the table, the value of textiles witnessed the most variation, rising by 15.24% in 2016. Petroleum, engineered, and agricultural products, on the other hand, increased unremarkably, at 3%, 8,5%, and 0,81% respectively. On the contrary, the percentage change in the value of gems and jewellery decreased by 5.18% in 2016.
