The graphs below show the total percentage of films released and the total
percentage of ticket sales in 1996 and 2006 in a country. Summarise the information by
selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
The bar chart illustrate the information about the percentage of flims that was released and the percentage of ticket sales in the categories of drama, comedy, fantasy and romance, in two separate years, 1996 and 2000.
Looking at the data set in 1996 in more detail, it is clear that 26% of movie that was released was the drama category, is the highest among all types. Comedy, fantasy and romance types are 20%, 17%, 6% respectively. Comedy types of movie ticket sales were around 20%, is the highest number in the chart. This is followed by drama at 16%, fantasy at 3%, and romance at 5% being sale. Fantasy flim sells the lowest number of tickets.
Turning to the data set in 2000, it is evident that number of cenema released was increased by 13% in drama category from the 1996, is the highest number. Comedy and fantasy movie also increased slightly was 25% and 16%. But the romance movie releasd was leveled as compared to 1996.
Comedy cenema ticket sales was escalated by 4% from 1996, also remain the highest sale. Drama and fantasy types of movie ticket sales was increased but slightly. However, romance category ticket sales dropped to 2%, which is the lowest sale.
Overall it can be seen that the drama type of film has the highest number of films that was released in both 1996 and 2000. Additionally, the number of tickets that was sold in comedy category was the maximum among all types in 1996 and 2000.
