The diagrams below give information about two road tunnels in two Australian cities. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
The pictures given compare the differences of two road tunnels of two particular cities in Australia.
Overall, it is obvious that the city’s tunnel structure which was builts later witnesses more modern developments and cost much more than the one that was constructed earlier. Additionally, the road tunnel, which was made later, has a greater capacity.
In detail, the more modernised road tunnel was built from 2002 to 2006, while from 1986 to 1998 was the constructed period of the other one. The cost of these two tunnels was different with the old one being 555 million dollars and the new one being 1,1 billion dollars. Notably, while the tunnel, which was constructed in the 20th century, can only endure 2 cars concurrently, the capacity of its morden counterpart is 3 cars.
Regarding the newer road tunnel, above it is a busy road with houses and tall buildings whereas above the older one is merely a bridge. The width and the length of the 21st-century road tunnel is 2,5 meters and 3,6 kilometers respectively, compared to the early-constructed one with the number being 1,5 meters and absent in that order. The morden tunnel was made from stone and clay, as opposed to the stand of the ancient one
