Some experts believe that it is better for children to begin learning a foreign language at primary school rather than secondary school.
Do the advantages of this outweigh the disadvantages?
Writing
In our global intergration society, learning a foreign language plays a vital in supporting individuals. young learners, particularly, children seem to have the most benefits due to the younger the students, the easier they can digest the knowledge. From my perspective, students should initiate enroll in oversea language in the first studying period of human life.
On the one hand, the advantages of early foreign language learning offers people a myriad of oppoturnities. Firstly, brain development is of the most notable positive aspects. learning a new language can be undoubtedly be challenging for adult, but for preschoolers it provides a huge chance to enhance the ability to think. To exemplify, bilingualism is like a workout for brain functions which help considerably extend the density of “gray matter”. In the bargain, the confidence of learners may be boosted. studying a new language at the young age allows people to take risks and explore something uncomfortable, leading to making mistakes in front of classmates and teachers that help students step toward to become a proficient speaker and more resilient learner.
On the other hand, getting access to international lanaguage may cause language disorder to students. Loads of parents try to let their kids gain a new language skill at young age with the expectation of better future career path. Contrastly, compelling children to learn a new language from an early age can easily lead to problems related to reading and understanding mothertounge, and also lead to develomental delays in all aspects.
To sum up, absorbing another language is not easy for all age. However, if individuals try to learn at young age prior to secondary school can noticeably benefit them.
