In this set of material, the reading passage and the lecture discuss the accuracy of the communal encyclopedias latest resources. The article presents three significant problems which make the printed resources more valuable than the online resources. In contrast, the listening passage repudiates what stated in the passage and providing three counterclaims proving that all three suggestion of the passage is not convincing. This discussed in the following:
First, the writing passage states that online resources in several situations lack academic accuracy and fill with errors. On the other hand, even though the professor agrees with the presence of mistakes in the online resources; however, he believes that there are not any resource frees from a single error. But, the online resources are easy to be corrected anytime. While, the printed encyclopedias are very hard, and their errors remain for decades.
Second, the passage claims that the online communal encyclopedias are easy to be hacked and fabricated in the information; therefore, we can not trust them as significant resources. While the professor, refutes this idea. He explains that the online websites use basic protecting strategies which prevent anybody from disputes or makes any format changes. Allowing only for individual editors to change or add new information.
Third, the author asserts that the online communal encyclopedias have too great and frequent depth on public information which creates negative impact about their topics which make them less necessary. Whereas the speaker casts doubt this idea, he suggests that probably space online is limited but the information usually written or added via a specialized academic group of people who would be capable;e to cover any issue and any topic which adds a positive advantage to the online communal encyclopedias.

Third, the professor is against the point that communal online encyclopedias have a narrow focus. In contrast, it is their core advantage. As everyone knows, a great variety of journals, e-books, and other sources of information are available online, which offer a vast diversity of viewpoints and topics to interested readers. However, because of their limited space, traditional printed encyclopedias present limited information covering a small portion of the topic. On the contrary, the reading passage posits that online encyclopedias create a false impression of what is important or popular and what is not.
