The above line graph interprets the changes in the amount and type of 3 different fast food consumed by Australian teenagers over a period of 25 years starting from 1975.
Having analysed given information 2 types of trends could be identified with regard to all 3 types of fast food intake such as upward and downward. Pizza intake has increased over 25 years and reached its peak at around 82 times per year in 2000 from 5 times a year in 1975. At the same time Hamburgers consumption which stood at the same as Pizza in 1975 has shown a drastic increase as it has gone up to 100 times per year in 2000. Whereas Fish and Chips intake which was at 100 times per year in 1975 has reduced by 60% in 2000. Though it showed a slight incline by 10 times in 1985 when compared to previous year, it has started to drop from next year onwards.
It can be concluded that, fast food consumption towards Pizza and Hamburgers is having an upward trend and Fish and Chips consumption is having a downward trend.
