Both the reading and lecture discuss on a paint-which it is about a woman- related to Rembrandt. The reading provides some evidences that this painting is not belonged to Rembrandt, however the professor dose not concur with it and the information he expresses contradicts the fact outlined in the reading passage.
First of all, it can be derived from text; there is an inconsistency in clothes. On the one hand the woman has worn a cap like servants' cap; on the other one the woman's coat seems very expensive due to luxurious fur collar. The article does not believe such a mistake by Rembrandt, In contrast the lecture claims that when the pigments of the painting was cleared by x-ray technology, it revealed that fur collar has been added to the painting later and it is not original. Some people may have wanted to rise up the value of painting.
Moreover, it can be derived from the article that the light and shadow are not fit with each other, while Rembrandt was a professional in light and shadow ground. The woman's face is light, however the collar's color is dark; consequently the collar must absorb this light instead of reflecting it, on the contrary the professor declares that after eliminating fake pigments, it was found that the collar's original color was light.
The final point, presented in the reading is that the panel of painting has been made by several pieces of wood, while Rembrandt was used to working on single piece of wood. At the same time the lecture casts doubts on the mentioned point by taking into account on the fact that the analysis of the woods shown that they were the same type of Rembrandt's wood, and these pieces added later for boosting the painting's value.

Less contents wanted from the reading passages(25%), more content wanted from the lecture (75%).
