Overall. it can be noticed that, the proportion of people who aged above 60 doubled during the period in Italy while, in Yemen the percentage of 15 to 59 age group increased in the same period.
In 2000, the percentage of people in 0 to 14 age group was almost a half in Yemen and the percentage of same age group was almost three times less for Italy than Yemen, only 14.3%. In the same year, proportion of people between 15 and 59 age group accounted for almost a half for Yemen (46.3%) and almost a two third (61%) for Italy. The percentage of aged people in Italy was almost a quarter (24.1%) in 2000 and the figure for this group in Yemen was insignificant, only 3.6%. in the same year.
After 50 years, in 2050, 15 to 59 and above 60 age groups expected to rise in Yemen to 57.3% and 5.7% respectively. However ,the children aged between 0 to 14 will reduce in percentage. When looking at Italys figure the figure for elderly people almost doubled comparing to the figure in 2000 while, the the the other age groups proportion dropped.
