The bar chart reveals the number of mobile phone calls and landlines per 100 people in seven different countries. Overall, it is clear that the number of mobile phone calls in Italy, Sweden, the UK and Germany is higher than the figures for remaining countries.
To begin with, the biggest users of cell phone use are Italians, with 90 calls per 100. This number is two times the number of landlines per 100 people. Germany, Sweden and the UK show a similar pattern, accounting for 88 calls, 84 calls and 70 calls per 100 people respectively. These numbers are much higher over 10 calls of the number of mobile phone calls.
In contrast, the highest number of landlines in Denmark is shown on the chart, with 88 calls per 100 people, slightly higher than the number of mobile phone calls, at just below 85 calls per 100 people. Similarly, just around 65 calls from landlines in the US and Canada. However, these numbers are higher than the lowest number of mobile phone use in Canada, with approximately 36 calls per 100 people and 48 calls by mobile phone in the US.
