The line chart shows how many people visited three different museums in London from June to September in 2013. Overall, the number of people visited British Museum and Science Museum increased, while the figure for Natural History Museum fell. It is also clear that the most people preferred to go sightseeing the British Museum, despite a minor fluctuation.
In June, the British Museum witnessed the highest number of visitors, with 600,000. The figures for the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum were lower, at 550,000 and 400,000 respectively. In July, the British Museum received 750,000 of visitors. This number then declined to 500,000 of visitors in August, whilst the Science Museum saw a gradual decrease in the number of tourists, to 300,000, over the period of 2 months. Likewise, the number of visitors to the Natural History Museum dropped considerably to just above 40,000 and remained stable till August.
By September, a similar trend can be seen in the number of visitors to the 3 museums. There was a steady increase in the number of visitors to the British Museum and the Science Museum, at 650,000 and 450,000 respectively. Similarly, the number of people went to see the Natural History Museum had grown slightly to just over 450,000.
