Overall, Gas and Coal were the main energy products of France in 1995 and in 2005. Moreover, proportion of Gas, Coal and Petrol in both years was slightly similar.
Coal production between 1995 and 2005 accounts for the largest percentage (29,80 % and 30,93 %, respectively). Although, the figure of Gas in both years was also the second biggest after the figure of Coal, Gas production in 2005 was bigger than in 1995 ( 30,31% and 29,63%, respectively). In contrast, the proportion of Petrol was produced in 1995 1,72% significant more than their counterparts in 2005.
Nuclear and other energy production between 1995 and 2005 were the two lowest percentages. However, the proportion of Nuclear production in 2005 was larger than in 1995 (10,10% and 6,40%, respectively). Likewise, the figure of other energy production in 2005 was (4,20%) more than their counterparts in 1995.
