Dear James,
I have recently received your letter with complains about the noise from my house. The reason is simple. I have started to renovate my kitchen and living room. It is definitely a noisy process because I have to destroy two walls in order to make a studio-kitchen.
My apologies to you. I really have to do that fast because the builders are going to come this Tuesday. I have to do this in a most noisy way to get in time. Today is Monday so I am going to make some noise one last time. I will try to do all the work till 8 p. m.
After all, I am looking forward to visit you and share a bottle of good wine with you. We will have a great evening if you prepare some supper. I will bring wine, some vegetables, fruit and some good music. I hope that would make amends.
Looking forward to meet you
Your's neigbour, Steven.
