Dear Jason,
Hope this letter finds you in good health. As you may be aware, I am staying with my elderly in-laws who are above the age of 60. They need some medical assistance due to ailment. My father-in-law has been hospitalized for physiotherapy treatment and I ought to take care of them in this critical situation. I would like to take some time-off for about a month. I need to be at hospital for couple of weeks followed by taking care of them at home for another 2 weeks. As you always say, work life balance is essential hence it is vital to be with them for 4 weeks.
Please be informed that I have sorted out few plans to accomplish my work when I am on my planned leaves. I have given the knowledge transition to my teammates and they are confident to do my tasks. I don’t have any pending task. Since we have a strong team co-ordination, team is supportive and they will take care any tasks that would be assigned to me. I hope to return back to work by 1st of October. I am reachable through phone. Whenever time permits, I can work from home. Feel free to text or call me if you need anything in priority.
Thanks,
Chitra
