Overall, public transport is by far the most popular choice for holidaymakers. While the plane and the coach is the two types of transport used almost the same amount.
As can be seen from the chart, the highest percentage, around 70 percent of commuters using the car on holiday. Especially another type of transport is the plane, which over 30 percent, as the as the figure for people using coach.
The fourth popular mode of transport is the train, exactly 20 percent of travelers. The boat is by far the least popular choice, with only below 10 percent of international visitors.
