Overall, it can be seen that Western countries consume more meat and coffee than the Asian nations. The units are expressed in kg per person.
As regards meat consumption in western nations, the US tops the list with 122 kg per person, which is twice as much as the Norway at 60 kg per person. Ranked in second place is Germany at 87 kg, considerably higher than the France at 72 kg. In contrast, the amount of consumption for Asian nations is maintained below 50 kg per person with a slight distinction. China, Russia and Japan stand at 47kg, 45kg and 42 kg per person respectively.
With respect to coffee consumption, Norway drinks most coffee with 9 kg per person, whereas Japan and China have least coffee at 3 kg and 2 kg per person, making it the lowest quantity of all countries. On the other hand, the difference is insignificant for remaining nations like France (5 kg) vs Germany (7kg) and Russia (5 kg) vs the US (4kg) correspondingly.
