The article states that scientific (science) of archaeology have (has) a problem in Britain and provides three reasons of support. However, the professor explains that the archaeology have (has) a good condition in all field(s) based on a novel regulation and refutes each of the author’s reasons.
First, the reading states that plenty of priceless artifacts ruin (were ruined) by construction project(s). The professor refutes this point by saying that locations that builders attempt to build new buildings should be analyze (d) by archaeologists until they recognize archaeological worth of the locations. Hence, if the locations consist of precious artifacts, they (would) conserve those location(s) by helping of government and builders.
Second, the article claims that archaeologists believe that research budget of archaeology is insufficient by government. However, the professor says that based of new regulation, the whole research expenses of archaeologists should be paid by construction companies so they don’t have any financial problem and do their researches exceedingly better than previous situations.
Third, the reading claims that archaeologists don’t have ample opportunities to work in their proficiency. The lecture opposes this point by saying that the archaeologists have abundant opportunities for paid work due to new regulation in Britain. Consequently, the number of professional archaeologists have increased.
