The graph below shows the consumption of fish and different kinds of meat in a European country between 1979 and 2004.
The line graph provides information regarding the usage of fish and some various types of meat in European country throughout 25 years from 1979 till 2004. Overall, chicken consumption witnessed an upward trend, while other three choices dropped over the years.
As can be clearly seen from the given information, beef was the most popular with a consumption of 210 grams per person. Then, it plunged to 180 before reaching approximately 230 in 1984. After following twenty years figures for beef dropped slightly until hitting 120. Lamb consumption followed fairly similar trend with beef which stood at 150 grams in 1979 and declined two times to 75 grams in 2004.
Interestingly, although chicken consumption was third most eaten meat at beginning of survey, it increased gradually from about 150 grams and in 2004 it hot a peak of 250. In addition, fish utilized 60 grams per person per week in 1979 and experienced decrease of 10 grams in the final year.
