Practical subjects: a plus for a better life
Since I was a young boy, I have watched my mother cooking almost twice a day, she passed down all her knowledge about cooking to me. Since that day, I have never stopped cooking. Impressive, right ?
Although practical subjects are considered as secondary tasks, plenty are the advantages acquirable from them. First and foremost, we are pacing in a changing era where the infrastructure and teaching methods must change. Touching by hand the small details that life offers is essential, and practical subjects are the most effective of aid.
Moreover, learning practical skills from younger age may help students make a little amount of money to fulfil their small needs and wishes.
Furthermore, Imparting skills such as cooking, or carpentry is fun because the output can be seen and appreciated almost instantly. For instance, in a recent survey done in Florida University, 65% of parents of school going children admitted that their young kids enjoy learning practical skills more than academic subjects.
According to the aforementioned arguments, is evident that practical skills may interest children interest initial stage of life. However, I suggest to master academic subjects in order to have better opportunities and happiness in life.
