Governments should offer a free university education to any student who has been admitted to a university but who cannot afford the tuition.

I partially agree with the statement, which is government should offer a free university education to any student who has been admitted to a university but who cannot afford the tuition. Doing this can affect both positively and negatively on the society. My views on this statement is expressed in the following topics.

Unlike the primary and secondary school courses, the university education is not forced on the students. If the student is wants to get more knowledge in his interested subject, he or she can go to the higher studies in university. But, the university education can be more expensive than that of the primary and secondary education. So, to give relief from the expensive costs the governments should give some scholarships or incentives. So that the students can complete their education getting less burden on them for paying fees for their university education. But, there should be some criteria to get the scholarships or incentives. Such as, the student is truly wants to get to that course, or the student has the basic knowledge to the relative subject. For the checking the basic knowledge of the students there should be a test, which gives the basic idea of the students knowledge. So that, the scholarship of university education goes to the right person.

But, when it comes to the student who has all the basic knowledge about the subject and really interested in the university education, but has no money. In that case, I think there should be waver for the student for the tuition fee, but not fully. So that, the student get idea how to earn money and how to save it, and use it. It is good for both the student and the university also. If the university offered the free education to the students, the students might not get worried about the money and they also not get respect for the money which might result into developing the bad habits to the students.

Therefore, we conclude from the above paragraphs mentioned that the governments should not offer a free university education to any student who has been admitted to a university but who cannot afford the tuition. In spite of this, government should offer a 50% to 70% waver on the tuition fee for the student. This would be great for the student and the university also.
