The pie charts below show the comparisons between Yemen and Italy in the population of ages in 2002 and prediction for 2050. The charts showed three groups of ages. They were divided to 0-14 years (group 1), 15-59 years (group 2), and more than 60 years (group 3).
Both Yemen and Italy showed particular contrary of prediction population in 2050. Yemen will boom by group 2 whereas Italy will place by group 3 in 2050.
Yemen showed the proportion of 50,1 % of group 1 and 46,3% of group 2, followed by 3,6 % in group 3. It meant that elderly people smaller than adult and children population in Yemen for 2000. The population of group 2 will increase to 57,3 % when group 2 decrease to 37,0 % by prediction of 2050. The prediction of elderly people increase by 1,2 %.
Italy showed unique proportion of group 1 (61,6 %), group 2 (14,3 %), and group 3 (24,1%) respectively in 2000. Later, the prediction will rise of elderly people to 42,3% while the adult and children decrease to 46,2 % and 11,5 % respectively.
In my conclusion, both of the graphs showed unique prediction. Yemen will get greater population in 15-59 years than Italy. In contrast, Italy will serve greater population of elderly people in the 2050.
