Do you agree newspapers will die out in the future

Modern society has a common believe that newspapers and tv may extinct under the pressure of independent blogs from the internet. Simple statistics shows us that more and more people prefer to get news from forums like Reddit or from favorite youtubers but not from good and old yellowish paper with black letters on it.

Indeed, on the on hand, compared to internet, classic newspapers seems slow walking, what is the point of sending reporter to the event when you already have ten videoshoots recorded by locals from mobile phones ? Reaching Experts or witnesses maybe time consuming as well. Let to forget that unlike internet blogs, newspapers cannot hide from restrictive government laws, lobbists, indictments, this list can be extended further. At the same time rivals from independent blogs already churned in all the possible meat from particular event and moved on to next one. No one cares for old news.
On the other hand there are still old fashioned people who wants to hold piece of real paper in their hands in the morning with their coffee. Independent blogs may be fast, but they stay shallow in their observations and miss deep connections tangling events to each over. Besides that, many of them are just biased as they perhaps subconsciously, spill their beliefs into their auditory.
In conclusion, I strongly believe newspapers will stay with us for a long time and help old fashioned people to continue their morning routine. Even if young generation tries to write off newspapers, perhaps to protect trees or for similar cases, some old folks will always defend it as a part of their slow lifes
