The following are two filter systems. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. Write at least 150 words.
The depicted process illustrates the structure of two various filter systems, namely, Cross section filter and simple outdoor filter. It is apparent that the major principle of both equipments is purifying the water.
As can be seen, the first filter consists of three sections- sand filter, tiny stones and pipe holes. Initially, water is penetrated into the container from the inlet and passes through all indicated sections inside. At the end of the process water is passed through the outlet and becomes ready to use.
Compared to 200 L metal container, the second filter is much more compound. Firstly, untreated water is kept in a container with a tap and then is sent to the other container full of sand. After this step, filtered water is preserved in a store and is utilized in houses.
All in all, the process suggests that the most substantial discrepancy between the described filters is that the second container has a storage system for keeping water. However, it seems that the first container is much more effective due to the advanced purifying system.
