In some countries teenagers are allowed to work part time jobs. Some people say it is a good thing, but others disagree. Discuss both views. Give your own opinion and support it with examples.
Nowadays, society and the families try their best to make good life conditions for everyone specially teenagers. But there are different debates about teenagers’ work. One point of view is that teenagers’ work is not bad at all and it can helps them to become strong in their social life while another view is totally against it.
Actually, there are some advantages about teenagers’ work. First of all, they’ll learn how to cope with other people and also face problems and solve them successfully. Secondly, they’ll learn how to make money and how to save it. Moreover, they can help their families with some of their expenses such as their tuition and etc. This way teenagers learn how to be responsible as well, which is a valuable achievement for their life.
There is another view which is against the previous idea. Some people believe that there’s no benefits about teenagers’ work. They believe working for young children is just a burden on their shoulders and they have to experience adult’s world and responsibilities sooner than they are expected. Moreover, by working part-time they can’t focus on their lessons. Imagine a teenager who work in a restaurant 3 days a week just in the afternoon. It can make him/her tired and as a result in the very next day after working, he/she will show the symptoms of being tired. For instance, at school this person can’t focus on lessons as well as others.
To sum up, although teenagers can learn how to be responsible by working, they may loose cherished experiences with the same age friends.
