The given table illustrates the percentages of consumer durables owned by Britain in 11 years from 1972 to 1983.
The table reveals that households used five types of consumer durables at 1972, without video and dishwasher. The most popular product is television, 93 per cent Britain bought at 1972;98 per cent at 1983. It remained the indispensable electronic device over the prolonged period. However, the least popular product is central heating at 1972, which no longer the least after 1978. Dishwasher replaced, 3 per cent of citizens owned it only.
Remarkably, vacuum cleaner was eliminated at 1983, which is the second popular product before that year. The popularity of telephone, refrigerator, washing machine, central heating and television increased gradually, following the years growth.
All consumer durables shown in the table are using at daily to deal with boring daily cleaning and leisure time, that may be the reason why the percentages of them increase steadily.
