Cambridge 5-Task3
The map below shows about two possible sites of a new supermarket in town. As a business project, I use my business point of view to decide the right site according to : prospective market, easy to reach probabilities, and the facilities provided over the site.
The first site plan is located at the country side, at the side of main roads from approximately 10.000 populations crossed by. It perhaps provide a large site with comfortable parking area, that will tend to customer satisfaction of comfortable shopping area.
On the contrary, the second site plan will be located at the center of the town which have provided with strategic facilities such as railway station, no traffic zone area, closer to approximately 29.000 populations of Cransdon, the biggest population in Garlsdon. Biggest population tends to a big prospective market, and probably can reach easily by the citizen of the town. The facilities perhaps encourage the citizen to visit and shopping, as easier as it will be reached by them. The second site plan has bigger probabilities and profit prospective than the first site plan. The supermarket planner must recognise this summarise.
That is all my comparison and summarise from the map about supermarket's site plan.
