The chart below shows the amount of money per week spent on fast foods in Britain. The graph shows the trends in consumption of fast foods.

The charts illustrate consumption of junk foods from 1970 to 1990 that are evidence by three levels of income people in the last period.

In 1990, mostly people, having over average income, spent more than 30 pence a week to eat hamburger whereas this compared inversely, over a half of difference, than pizza in all of income level. Surprisingly, fish & chips eaten by some people in the contrast level, high income and low income, had same amount approximately 16 pence.

As can be seen, popularity of fish & chips and hamburger showed an upward trend since the beginning of period, while fish & chips rose more significantly about 500 pieces sold in 1990. Otherwise, consumption of pizza showed a downward record, started just over 300, although it grew slightly in the middle of 1980’s.

Overall, hamburger and fish & chips were favored commonly people than pizza. Logically, both of them were also having good track for 20 years ago.
