The chart below shows the total number of minutes (in millions) of telephone calls in Finland divided into three categories, from 1995-2004.

The bar chart gives information regarding the number of Finland’s telephone cells in three different categories, measured by million minutes during 1995 and 2004. Overall, it can be clearly seen that the category of mobiles had dramatically upward trend whereas the category of national and international-landline experienced a gradual increase. However, although the category of local-landline was the highest, it has fluctuation trend.

In 1995, the category of mobiles was the lowest amongst other categories. It stood at some 1,0 million minutes and then increased gradually over the next 5 year, in 2000, at approximately 3,000 million minutes, before it rose significantly from 2001 to finish in 2004, at around 9,900 million minutes.

Moving to a more detailed analysis from the chart reveals that at 6,000 million minutes in 1995, there was a slow incline over the timeframe, at over 10,000 million minutes, in 2004. In contrast, the number of local-landline fluctuated over the time periods. It was the highest categories in 1995, at 12,000 million minutes and next reborn rose in 2004 after it peaked at around 17,000 million minutes in 2001.
