The line graph provides information about the consumption of fish and three various types of meat at a time period from 1979 to 2004 in a European country. In general, over a span of 25 years the utilization of beef and lamb has declined, whereas chicken consumption has risen dramatically.

To begin with, in 1979 the greatest and the lowest consumption belonged to beef and fish with approximately 200 and 50 grams per person per week, respectively. Fish consumption showed a stable process in this time span and finishing the period was at the same level that had been begun.

Similar trends was observed at the consumption of beef and lamb, but of them decreased significantly. For beef was reported a drop from 250 grams to over 100 grams and for lamb was presented a fall from 150 grams to over 50 grams at the same time.

In contrast, apart from swinging moves, chicken consumption has grown noticeably from 150 grams to just over 250 grams between 1979 and 2004
