The line graph compares the data about thefts per thousand vehicles in Great Britain, Sweden, France and Canada over 9-year period starting in 1990. Overall, It can be apparently seen that the level of theft is much higher in Great Britain than in other three countries.

According to the graph, it can be seen that there is a downward trend with some fluctuations during 9 years in Great Britain. The index of theft was approximately 18 per thousand in 1990, reached a peak at just over 20 per thousand in 1996, then followed by declining.

Though France, Sweden and Canada showed almost similar points until 1995 varying between 5-10 per thousand vehicles, after the certain year there was a noticeable difference in the levels of theft of these countries. The theft in Sweden was increasing till about 15, whereas France after reaching a peak at around 7 depicted a gradual decrease. In addition, compared with former indicator, the latter one in Canada was low. However, after 1995 there was a slight increase of thefts per 1000 vehicles.
