The table below shows sales made by a coffee shop in an office building on a typical weekday.
The table illustrates the different four categories of sales (coffee, tea, pastries and sandwiches) made by a coffee shop from 7.30am to 8.30pm. The given sales categories classified into two sections; beverage and snacks.
The coffee was made the most number of sales whereas the sale of pastries and sandwiches vary with the times. The pastries were the most popular snacks in the early morning and after lunch time while in other times were the most preferred with sandwiches.
Most of office workers from the same building chose coffee and pastries in the morning from 7.30am to 10.30pm. The number of sales for coffee was 265 and pastries were 275, which of combination were the highest number of sales, while the combination of tea and sandwiches was 110 sales and 50 sales, respectively.
From 10.30am to 2.30pm, the coffee was remained the similar trend as the highest sales whereas the number of pastries sold dropped to 95. Meanwhile, the sale of tea dropped in half (of 50). Instead of choosing for pastries, the choice on sandwiches quadrupled of the figure from the earlier time.
After the lunch time, especially from 2.30pm to 5.30pm, people made the choice on pastries have increased to 150 whereas sandwiches plummeted to reach at 40 sales. Meanwhile, the sale of the coffee decreased to 145 whereas the tea remained the lowest sale of 35.
200 coffee and 100 sandwiches were sold from 5.30pm to 8.30pm whereas only 75 tea and 80 pastries sold at the same time.
