The table below compares the different in sales of a small restaurant in the commercial area in a downtown, during a period of one week from 7 to 13 of October.
Overall, it can be clearly seen that, the sales during the dinner time were higher than the sales of lunch time and the lowest sales were in the time of weekend.
To begin, the sales of Monday lunch were at 2.400 dollars following this the sales continued approximately the same during the next four days to reach a peak at 2.595 dollars on Wednesday. Then the dropped at the end of the week to finish at 1.550 dollars on Friday.
With regards to the dinner sales, the restaurant showed slightly increased sales than that of lunch time. It started at 3.623 dollars which about one dollar more that of lunch in the same day, after that the sales remained nearly the same in the following 4 days before it fell in the weekend to reach the lowest sale in Sunday at 2.450 dollars.
