Bar chart: amount spent on consumer goods

Contained in the bar chart provided is data pertaining to how much consumer spent on selected goods in four different countries. Overall, the average of amount spent of people in four given nations was between 140 and 180 thousand pounds sterling, and British citizens spent the largest amount of money on consumer goods.

Regarding CDs, toys and photographic films, one can see that there was higher amount of money spent for this group of consumer goods. British people spent just over 160 thousand pounds on CDs, while around 170 thousand pounds were spent on toys or photographic films. Meanwhile, people spent the same amount of just under 160 thousand pounds on CDs and toys in France, whereas approximately 165 thousand pounds were spent on photographic. However, Italian spent the exact same amount of just under 160 thousand pounds in toys and photographic films, and about 150 thousand pounds were spent on CDs.

Turing to the remaining given goods, which were personal stereos, tennis racquets and perfumes, the average of amount spent hovered around 145 thousand pounds. It is clear that people spent 160 thousand pounds on perfumes and around 155 thousand pounds on personal stereos and tennis racquets. Otherwise, Italian and French consumers spent about 150 and 145 thousand pounds on these three goods, respectively.

Finally, it is evident that, the amount of money that Germany citizens spent on each goods represented minimal difference, between 145 and 150 thousand pounds.
