The bar graph show changes about the percentage of residents living in cities, rural and towns who were born in Australia and ouside of Australia from 1995 to 2010.
In general, most people born inside and outside of Australia live in cities in both years, and the percentage rose in 2010. Towns were where people lived the least in 1995; for 2010, it was rural areas instead.
People who were born in Australia favor cities the most in both years. Half of the population lived in cities in 1995, and 65 percent in 2010. Rural areas were populated by 30 percent percent of people born in Australia in 1995. This proportion drop to 17 percent in 2010; moreover this was also the percentage for towns in 2010. Towns were the least populated for people born in Australia in 1995, only one fifth of the total people.
People who were born outside of Australia prefer cities the most too. 60 percent of the population lived there in 1995, and it rose to four fifth in 2010. Rural areas population fell greatly from 40 percent to 5 percent. The proportion of people lived in towns stayed mostly the same around 15 percent.
