The bar chart below provides data about world different continent people percentages whose choice of living is cities, the information is about North America, Latin America, Asia, Africa, Europe and world in 1960,2007 and 2030.
If we summarize the whole data in each continent whether its lies in Asia, Europe or America or whole world with passing time from 1960 to 2007 increasing number of people's preference was urban setup, that can also be seen in future 2030.
In Europe and America more than 50 percent population was living in cities in 1960, and in America highest percent was 64 among all regions. While in Latin America and whole world people that are staying in urban areas were 42 percent and 29 percent respectively by 1960. And Asian and Africans were lowest in percent 17 and 15 in 1960.
However, there is drastic change in diverse continents people attitude could shown in 2007, that is more than 70 percent population movement toward cities observed in Latin, North America and Europe 79,72 and 74 percent. Whereas, Asia and whole world population choice to live in urban area was more than 40 percent, 41 for Asia and 49 for Whole world. While Africa was at its lowest once again 37 percent in 2007. And if we look at future scenario developed or advanced regions of Latin and north America and Europe will 84, 87 and 78 percent, that would live in better facilities areas of country. Asia and Africa will also 52 percent and 51 percent by 2030. And if we look whole world into account 60 percent world population will stay in cities by 2030.
