The bar graph shows how five different industries of Brazil’s economy have been displayed as a percentage from 2009 to 2019 with a forecast for 2029.
Overall, there is a decline in the proportion of food processing, manufacturing, tourism and coil, coal and gas, with the share of manufacturing witnessing the most dramatic drop. While the figure for the finance seen to have a significant rise and also be the one which has the highest percentage throughout the period.
30% of Brazil’s economy was for finance in 2009, with a subsequent considerable increase to 35% in 2019, and the final is likely to reach 40% in 2029. Conversely, the figure for manufacturing was just over 20% in 2009, followed by a progressive decrease to 15% in 2019 and is expected to suffer a big drop in 2029, with just hovering around 5%.
The proportion for food processing and coil, coal and gas seem to have a similar fluctuation, which starts at 10% and 25% in 2009, after which it experienced a growth to 20% and 30% in 2019, before being predicted to end the period at the figure which seem to be the same in 2009. Meanwhile, the percentage for tourism have the opposite changes, dropping from 25% in 2009 to approximately 20% in 2019 and having an anticipation to remain stable in 2029.
