Overall, it can be seen that hotels was the most popular choice among people in the UK. While Caravan and Camping were the least common choice in England, Scotland and Wales, in Northern Ireland, the lowest figure was seen in Self-Catering and Camping.
Looking at the graph for detail, hotels attracted the majority of people living in England and Scotland with over 60% while the figure in Wales and Northern Ireland is roughly 60%. Self-Catering is more favoured in England, Scotland and Wales with almost 30% compared with just around 10% in Ireland.
Turning to other types of dwelling, Caravan is one of the most popular choices in Ireland with over 30% in contrast to the figure in Scotland (12%) and England and Wales was 6 and 8%, respectively. Camping was selected by only 14% of people in Wales, followed by 12% and 11% of those in England and Ireland in the same order. The figure of Scotland citizens choosing Camping registered the lowest figure in all the chart with only 5%.
