The graph illustrates the hours each week that adolescents spent on 7 activities in Chester for 6 Years from 2002 to 2007.

Overall, teenagers spent the highest time on watching TV and the lowest on bowling. A gradual increase in hours spent on activities such as going to pubs or discos, shopping and watching television are visible from 2002 to 2007. But time given for doing homework, sports and bowling decreased by 6 years. The hours spent on watching DVD's was fluctuating.

Adolescents spent 25 hours a week to watch TV in 2002 and drastically increased to more than 35 hours a week by 2007. For both shopping and going to pubs, teenagers spent more than 5 hours per week in 2002 and increased to 15 and 18 hours per week respectively by 2007. Adolescents spent less than 5 hours a week for bowling from 2002 to 2007.

For both doing sport and homework, the hours spent by teenagers decreased from 10 to less than 5 and 13 to 7 respectively. Time spent for watching DVD's increased from 11 to 18 hours a week by 3 years(2002 to 2004). Later decreased from 12 to 10 hours per week by next 3 years(2005-2007).
