The bar chart illustrates the percentage of men and women in various age groups who performed regular physical activity in Australia in 2010.

Overall, proportion of both men and women varied among different age groups between 15 to 65 years who exercise daily. More women performed physical activity on regular basis compared to men in all the age groups except those who were in the younger group. Almost same number of older men and women were engage in regular recreational activity.

More specifically, men in the age group of 15 to 24 years were more involved in regular exercise 52.8% to be exact compared to women(47.7%). On the contrary, women between 25 to 34 years and 55 to 64 years were ahead of men with a difference of 7-8% who did physical activity daily which corresponds to 48.9% and 53% of women whereas, 42.2% and 45.1% of men respectively. While in the age group of 35 to 44 years and 45 to 54 years this difference surged to 10-13%. Approximately 47% of both men and women who were aged 65 years and above were reported of doing exercise daily.

To sum up, the ratio of men and women who performed regular workouts fluctuated among age groups ranging from 15 to 65 years and above.
