The given bar graph illustrates the proportion of six different age groups australian male and females involved in physical exercises in 2010.
Overall, it is clear that more women were interested to engage in physical activities than men from the age 25 to 64 whereas, the proportion of both genders remained almost same in the last age of 64 and above.
Going back to significant consideration of the graph, it can be seen that 52.8% males and 41.7% females participated in exercises regard to age group 15 to 24. In contrast, in the following age groups, the number of women engaged in healthy activities increased over men.A significant difference can be seen in the percentage of both sexes in age group 35 to 44 in which 39.5% males and 52.5% females enrolled in physical exercises.
However, in the last age group 65 and over, the percent of both genders remained almost same differ by only 0.6%.
