The bar graph illustrates the proportions of Australian men and women of various age groups who had done physical activity in 2010.
Overall, the female has dominated male in doing workout in different age group in contrast to 15-24 years age group. The major difference between male and female is seen in 35-44 years age group whereas, there is minor difference between them in 65 and above years age group.
As seen in the bar graph, there was a 13% of major difference in 35-44 years age group between male and female in doing physical activity which represents 53.3% of females and 43.1% of males. Followed by, females are more active by 8.2% than male counterparts in 45-54 age group similarly, females proportion are 7.9% and 6.7% greater than male proportions in age groups of 55-64 years and 25-34 years. However, in age group of 65 and above, there was a minor difference of 0.4% between males and females.
In the graph, there is opposite trend followed in 15-24 years age group in which males proportion are greater than females. 52.8% of males are active in physical activity whereas, 47,7% of females did physical activity.
