The bar chart below shows the three main causes of land damage in four different areas in the world.
The bar graph illustrates the three major cause that damages the land, namely tree-cutting, breeding and farming, in four continents.
It can be seen on the graph that tree-cutting and farming are done mostly in Asia, damaging about 460 million hectares and 450 million hectares respectively. This is followed by Africa were they harm 460 million hectares of their land due to tree-cutting and 300 million hectares because of farmiung. On the other hand, less harm was done in Europe and Australia wherein the former damage 110 million hectares of their land by tree cutting and 90 million hectares of land by farmer. The latter causes 100 mmillion hectares of their land is harmed by tree cutting and approximately 600 million hectares of their land is damaged by farming.
Another cause of land damage that is provided on the chart is breeding. Africa tops the list where they harmed 500 million hectares of their land, followed by Asia, losing about 460 million hectares of lan. Australia accounts for about 210 million hectares damage from the land and Europe at 100 million hectares.
Overall, Africa and Asia causes more damage globally in contrary with Australia and Europe.
